1. GENERAL:
1.1. These regulations govern all aspects of table reservations by individuals in conjunction with the Rules - Constitution and Administration of the Club.
1.2. These regulations may be changed only by resolution of the Management Committee.
2. DEFINITIONS:
2.1. Approved Coach: a person who:
2.1.1. Holds a recognised ETTA coaching qualification; and
2.1.2. Assists at Club coaching sessions at least once per month; and
2.1.3. Is included in the Register of Approved Coaches.
2.2. Register of Approved Coaches: a list of coaches authorised by the Management Committee to receive additional benefits.
3. AUTHORITY:
3.1. No person or group of persons other than the Management Committee shall decide upon the persons to be included in the Register of Approved Coaches.
3.2. Additions to the Register of Approved Coaches may be decided by the Management Committee at any time and the benefits shall be effective from that date.
3.3. The Management Committee may, at any time and without giving reason, withdraw a person from the Register of Approved Coaches.
4. TABLE RESERVATIONS:
4.1. Table reservations shall be made, in advance, with the Bookings Officer.
4.2. An Approved Coach shall be allowed the following:
4.2.1. To make advance reservation of tables, subject to availability, for the purpose of coaching during practice sessions.
4.3. A Full Member shall be allowed the following:
4.3.1. To make advance reservation of a table for a period of two hours, subject to availability, for the purpose of practice during practice sessions.
4.4. Tables are available for reservation on the following basis:
4.4.1. Three tables at a time when there are no matches or one match taking place;
4.4.2. Two tables at a time when there are three matches taking place;
4.4.3. One table at a time when there are four, five or six matches taking place;
4.4.4. No table at a time when there are seven or more matches taking place.
5. FEE:
5.1. A fee shall charged as follows:
5.1.1. £2.00 per hour in respect of a table reserved by an Approved Coach for the purpose of coaching junior players;
5.1.2. £2.50 per hour in respect of a table reserved by an Approved Coach for the purpose of coaching adult players;
5.1.3. A 50p premium over the normal practice fee in respect of each table reserved by a Full Member for the purpose of practice.
5.2. A table reserved by Full Members for the purpose of practice shall be subject to a 50% cancellation charge if less than twenty-four hours notice of cancellation is given.
5.3. Full Members who have paid the practice fee and reservation premium may continue to partake in the same practice session without payment of a further fee.
5.4. The above fees shall be waived in respect of tables booked for the purposes of coaching a Gold Privileged Member and for tables booked by an Approved Coach.
