David FullerOn leaving school I started work at John Rigby & Sons (Wire Manufacturers), Low Moor, Bradford and moved to their Cleckheaton site in 1968 (laterly known as Rigby Metal Components) where I progressed to Production Control Manager until in 1999 when the company was bought by GKN Sinter Metals and closed with activity being moved to Lichfield, Staffs. I declined a move there and worked as Traffic Coordinator for a transport company in Pudsey until recently when I was lucky enough to be offered a job as a Production Coordinator at a greetings card manufacturer in Dewsbury. I married in 1968 and have two children (32 and 28). I divorced in 1986 and remarried two years later when I inherited a stepdaughter (31). I have five grandchildren and now live in Liversedge, West Yorkshire. Outside work my passion has always been football and though never really good enough to play I passed out as a referee in 1969 and reached Grade One in 1973. I was forced to retire from the game in 1993 through injury but not before having the honour to referee amongst the elite in the Dallas Cup in the USA on 10 occasions. I am still actively involved in the game being an FA Licenced Referee Instructor and Assessor. I am a Council Member of the West Riding County FA and also Secretaryof the Heavy Woollen District FA and a Life Member of the Heavy Woollen Gate Sunday Alliance Football League (for which I was Secretary for 19 years).
