As a child I would always insist on going out into nature every day. When I was three years old, I was found having an in-depth conversation with some daisies and wild forget-me-nots. When I was a bit older, my father made me a swing which he hung from the bough of the ancient Lilac tree in our garden. I would swing high, able to see over all the other gardens, whilst being drenched in the fragrance of these gorgeous double-headed dark purple flowers. My love affair with Mother Nature and flowers has never changed since then.
In 1998 I trained in Vibrational Essences in Alaska , USA , with the Alaskan Flower Essence Project (and was the first person in the world to qualify as a practitioner with them). I started making my own vibrational essences to enhance my therapeutic practices and was then encouraged to make the essences publicly available. Grassdancer Vibrational Essences was set up in 1999 and we now have over 100 essences in our range, which are used by customers all over the world. I am passionate about essences! I am past Secretary (and an active member) of the British Flower and Vibrational Essences Association and a member of the British Association of Flower Essence Producers. I am committed to the development and education of Vibrational Essences globally.
I have a Celtic family background in folk medicine, healing and earth keeping. An ‘energy sensitive' since a child, I have spent most of my life working in an intuitive way with the energy of buildings, land and sacred spaces (as well as with individuals and groups). In the 1980's I took this further by training with Karen Kingston and Denise Linn. I have a background in psychotherapy and have training and experience in other subjects such as personal development, nutrition, motivational techniques and different forms of therapy and healing (including shamanic), through the generosity of British, Celtic and Native American Indian teachers. I am qualified in and practice several healing and therapeutic disciplines and am also a full healer member of the National Federation of Spiritual Healers. My dance background includes performing with the London City Ballet; Assistant Principal of the Bedfont School of Dancing and Teacher and assistant choreographer with the Kew Academy of Performing Arts (based in England , UK ). In 1986 I qualified as a Teacher with the British Association of Teachers of Dancing. I now combine my dance and therapeutic skills to teach experiential dance workshops which enable individuals to unlock their creativity and free their Soul's expression.
To use my skills and experience to help others, in any way I can, to achieve their own success and happiness. The threads of Love we weave together provide a rope of Hope and unite us. I know through my own experiences that anything is possible.
FLOWERS - Each one of us has the ability to grow and blossom to our full potential. Sometimes we need the help of an able gardener who will carefully tend to us.
I am passionate about co-creating with Nature in this way, and hope you enjoy using our Essences.
Blessings to you
