The National Chamber Orchestra of Wales can be seen on the digital and analogue, terrestrial and satellite television services in the coming months in Peter Karrie Unmasked (BBC and BBC CHOICE), Leah Marian-Jones (S4C), and Gwahoddiad (S4C). There will be new opera and light entertainment series recorded for transmission up to the millennium. The skill of the NCOW. musicians was apparent during the recording of the television series "Y Cyfansoddwyr" (The Composers) when demanding 20th Century repertoire was performed under the able baton of Martin Pring. The programmes were recently broadcast on S4C.
The NCOW featured with the talented and verstaile singer Shan Cothi on her two recent series.
Late News! As part of the celebrations for the Rugby World Cup 1999 in Cardiff, the orchestra will accompany the world famous Bryn Terfel in a television special.
