Ice HorsesWe are a dedicated
group
of riders in the
North East of Scotland, aiming to promote the
Icelandic horse
at local and national events.
Our programme gives a brief overview of the essential role of the horse in Iceland's history, it introduces the extraordinary gaits of the Icelandic horse, and it demonstrates the spirit, willingness and the sociable nature of the Icelandic horse. We offer: • Several riding displays, ranging from about 7-20 minutes • Comprehensive introduction to the history and character of the Icelandic horse • Regular riding sessions in which you can experience the amazing gaits • Advice on all aspects of riding, buying and keeping an Icelandic horse • Help design your own display programme |
