1532. I hew Gyee of Claxton beying of good and holl
mynd etc. My soul to Almighty God and my body to be
buried in the churchyard of Sent Rimagys of Claxton.
To the hy alt' of the same church for offerings and
tythings by me a beyste which the Vicar will take.
To the hy alt' for my wyffe viijd. To our lady of
Lincoln iiijd. To the bells and to the sepulture xvjd.
To our lady in the same church iiijd.
To my son Willm my waine my oxson and ij kyne and
to be att mayster Vicars ordering to make him a preyste if
he will.
To my brother Robt. my blue jakytt and a quart' of
corne.
To John my helper my blake que and a sheyte.
To my seyst' Agnes to help my daughter Annes vj
quaters of corne.
To Willm Howse ij steres.
To my gostly father fr. Willm ij trentalls for to be syng
for me and my wyffe.
The residue of my goods to mayster Vicar and John
Gyee my brother (for my children) whom I make executors.
