"In the Name of God Amen I Richard Guy of Knipton in the County of

Leicester ffarmer being of Sound and disposing Mind and Memory (praised be

God) do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in Manner following

Imps I give to my Son Edward Guy the Sume of One Shilling and to his Son

Edward Guy the sum of Twenty Shillings. Itm. I give to my Son in Law William

Chester the Sume of One Shilling and to my Grandchildren William Chester John

Chester & Elizabeth Chester Twenty Shillings apiece. It'm Igive to my

Daughter Mary Guy the Sume of ffity pounds and to my Son Richard Guy the Sume

of ffity pounds and to my Daughter Eleanor Guy the Sume of ffity pounds All

the rest and residue of my Estate Goods and Chattells whatsoever after my

Debts and funerall expenses are discharged I give & bequeath unto my loving

Wife Elizabeth Guy and to my Son Andrew Guy equally to be divided between them

And I do hereby constitute and appoint my Said Wife Elizabeth Guy and my Said

Son Andrew Guy Executors of this my last Will and Testament revoaking all

former Wills by me made In witness whereof I have hereunto put my Hand and

Seale this the first Day of March Anno Dni 1722 and in the Ninth year of the

Reign of King George
