This is the last will and testament of me, Thomas GUY of

Normanton, in the Parish of Bottesford, in the County of

Leicester, Farmer, being of sound disposing mind, memory and

understanding; First I will and desire that all my just

debts, funeral and Testamentary expences, be paid by my

executrix and executor hereinafter named and appointed.

I give and devise all that my freehold Messuage or Tenement and

Garden with all appurtenances thereunto belonging, to

situate and being in Bottesford aforsaid, and now in the

occupation of Widow WINDLE, unto my dear wife Francis GUY, for

and during the term of her natural life, and from and

immediately after her decease, I give and devise the same, to &

unto my Son William GUY, to him his heirs and assigns for ever.

I give and bequeath unto my three daughters Mary GUY, Elizabeth

LOVETT, and Ann PENFORD, their respective heirs and assigns, the

sum of Eighty pounds apiece to be paid to them by my executor

herein after named at the decease of my wife the said Frances

GUY, and not before. Provided nevertheless, if any of my said

daughters happen to die, without lawful issue, before she can

recieve the aforesaid legacy, by virtue of this my will, Then I

will and desire that the share, of her or them so dying shall go

and be divided equally among the surviving Sisters. Provided

also, should my wife Frances GUY, not continue my widow, my will

and mind is, that the aforsaid legacies of Eighty pounds each

to my three aforsaid daughters, shall be paid and fully

satisfied before her second marriage. I also give and bequeath

unto my Son John GUY the sum of Five pounds, to be paid to him

Immediately after the expiration of one year after my decease

And as to all the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate,

whatsoever, wheresoever, and of what natureor kind or quality

soever the same may be, and not herein before given and disposed

of, I do hereby give and bequeath the same, being all personal,

to and unto my wife Francis GUY and my Son Daniel GUY, as Joint

exectrix and executor, for and during the term of her natural

life, and at my said wifes decease, then wholly and solely, I do

give and bequeath the same to my said executor, my said Son

Daniel GUY, subject to the payment of the aforsaid legacies and

expences, in consideration of the above premises, I subscribe my

hand and seal hereto, this nineteenth day of February One

thousand eight hundred and thirtythree
