Cults

Cults is a district on the south east of the Howe of Fife crossed by the A914. Pitlessie is the main village.. It is best known because of Sir David Wilklie's famous painting Pitlessie Fair (1804) now in the National Gallery of Scotland.

Pitlessie Fair

Cults Kirk is situated about one mile east of Pitlessie. A Church of Scotland sign and a plaque commemorating Wilkie mark the entrance to the lane leading to the Kirk.
