Guestbook

This guestbook is spammed from time to time by low life dregs of the community. I do check it when I can to remove offensive entries. However, please do not let this stop genuine visitors from signing in. Your entry will always be preserved when others have been removed. Incidentally, I did lose my original guestbook due to this spamming problem. If you visit again and do not see your message here, please sign in again - much appreciated!

Hi Mike- just dropping by to have a look at your site as I haven't visited for a couple of years. You may remember my grandfather was Joseph Royden.. just want to thank you for the research and it has been invaluable as my granddaughter had to do her family tree for a school project..Jane

Hello; I was an orphan in the Royal LIverpool Seamen's Orphanage from 1938-1941 and part of that time we lived at Royden Hall. I was back in the UK a few years ago and visited the hall along with my sister. As you are likely aware, an ex-orphan has written a book or two on the RLSO and the author like many of us, enjoyed the stay and what was obviously a very generous gesture by Lord Royden.
