History
The cafe at Rudyard station is located on the original full size railway Platform. Hence the name Platform 2 was chosen.
You can now sit and watch the narrow gauge steam trains arriving and departing on their trips to the lake.
Location
Rudyard Station is on the entry to Rudyard village on the B5331 half a mile West of the A523 Leek to Macclesfield Trunk road and about one mile North of Leek.
Near the Staffordshire, Cheshire, Derbyshire borders its close to Macclesfield, Buxton, Leek, Stoke and Congleton.
