My Grandfather was born on 24^th September 1919 in Gillingham. He went to India with the Army in the Second World War. He married Kathleen Mary Rozalla on 29^th May 1944 in Jhansi, India and they returned to England in 1946. He played the drums in his band - ‘Arthur Kenyon and his Ballroom Orchestra’. They divorced in 1953 and he went on to marry Ada. He died in June 1982.

My Grandfather was born on 8^th October 1928 at 51 Rochester Street, Chatham. He may have been in the junior Marines, and he went on to be a Civilian Stoker at the RE Barracks. He married Alberta Florence Alice Hollingsworth on 7^th January 1950 at Chatham Register Office and they had two children. He was working as a Locomotive fireman for British Railways when he died on 16^th February 1954 in Chatham.
