A domain name is an 'address' which directs the user to the home page of your web site. It is important to choose a name which is easy to remember and one which can be easily associated with your own company's name.
Domain names can be regiseterd for 1 or 2 years and they have different suffuxes, the most common ones being:
- .co.uk (generally for UK business / companies)
- .com (international / multinational companies)
- .org (clubs and other non profit making organisations)

Search Engine Optimisation
With 80% of web sites being found using search engines, it is important to ensure that your site is listed whenever an appropriate search is made. To help achieve this PSWEB Deign can:
- Submit details of your web site to 8 serach engines
- Insert appropriate 'Key Words' into the code of your web pages
There is a one off fee of £10.00 for this service.

Web Site Maintenance
Customers will only keep visiting your web site if it contains relevant and up to date information. Sites that contain incorrect, expired content simply 'die'.
Once up and running, PSWEB Design can maintain your site, updating it as and when you require, and ensuring it remains useful and of interest to your customers.
This service is charged at £15 / hours work.
