The Club participates in field trips organised by our Field Trip Secretary Geoff Toye.These are variously led by members of the Club, professionals and academics. Many field trips have been enjoyed under the leadership of Roger Birch ( Head of Geology, Collyers Sixth Form College), Dr. Ed Jarzembowski (Curator, Maidstone Museum) and members of the Club, too numerous to mention. The current programme:-

Field trips require appropriate clothing:

Waterproofs, stout boots or Wellingtons. All geological sites are potentially dangerous and Members are reminded that they attend field trips at their own risk. Any children attending are the total responsibility of parents or guardians. It is always advisable to 'phone a Committee Member if you are coming on a field trip, in case there are any last minute changes.
