You can fly to London (Gatwick or Heathrow Airports) or straight to Manchester airport. Times by road or rail are given below By Road The new A55 coastal expressway links Snowdonia with the historic town of Chester and the arterial motorways of the M6 and M1 for links to London and the Channel Ports and Tunnel. For a more leisurely, scenic drive, follow the A5 from Telford. The port of Holyhead connecting with Ireland is only an hour's drive away. Good road links mean fast journey times by coach at surprisingly low prices. The ferry takes three and a half hours and the Catamaran under two hours. The Channel Ports and Hull and Harwich are linked to the rail and motorway network. |
