offer scrambling courses and, over the years, hundreds of clients have
either discovered the joys of the sport with us or enjoyed the wide variety
of routes that we offer.
What is Scrambling?
|
| Enjoyment and Instruction
After settling down and meeting your weekend companions over dinner on your first evening, we'll practice a few knots and techniques in the comfort of the living room The next day you'll get the chance to try them out on real rock for we'll be out on enjoying Snowdonia's rugged buttresses, ridges and gullies. Here your qualified and sympathetic instructor will aim to give you a good grounding in the basic techniques of scrambling as well as ensuring that you have a great time. Fitness and Experience
|
| A Course for every Aim
We offer two different scrambling breaks both instructional, safe and fun but the emphasis is slightly different of each. So, whether you primary aim is enjoyment or instruction, we have the course for you. |
|
| 1. Scrambling is Fun
This break is for those who want to experience something that they'd never dream of doing on their own and to enjoy the maximum number of classic Snowdonia scrambles over the three days. Rope work and route-finding will be in the hands of your instructor though he will be teaching basic techniques throughout the day. This is also the course for scrambling beginners. 2.
