January 2005 - New course dates added for the year. The hens are beginning to come into lay and we are test incubating to check fertility before being confident of selling fertile eggs which are likely to hatch.
December 2003 Our light sussex hens have laid all through winter and we have continued to incubate the eggs with the result that we have young stock for sale. Our local abbey, Mt. St Bernards, has just purchased a dozen young light sussex hens to start a flock.
May 2003 Following a visit to Hillcroft, by Charlotte Mackaness on behalf of The Field magazine, I have reproduced her report as it appeared in the June 2003 edition of the magazine.
March 2003 - New picture added of Light Sussex Cock and pictures of the Cream Legbars updated. New link added to the Poultry World website.
March 2003 - We have just purchased some fertile Brahma eggs and will be setting up a breeding group later in the year. At this stage it is likely that we will concentrate on Gold Brahmas.
February 2003 - The Breeding season is well underway and we have fertile eggs to sell of most breeds except the Buff Orpington which are the last breed to come into lay (please see Hens for sale)
