Hove School of English: Learn English as a Second Language

The most popular type of accommodation chosen by students is host family / homestay accommodation. However, accommodation can also be arranged in hotels, flats (apartments) or, where groups are concerned, in halls of residence.

HOST FAMILY/HOMESTAY ACCOMMODATION

The families live near the school and they provide breakfast, dinner and a laundry service, with full-board accommodation at weekends. All the families are inspected by the Principal of the school in order to ensure that the high standards set by the Hove School of English are maintained at all times. The families are experienced in welcoming overseas students of all ages and know how to make students feel comfortable and relaxed at home.

Junior students (aged 8 to 15) receive full-board accommodation every day as well as a laundry service.

Students may choose to stay in a single room, or in a twin room (sharing with another student). Please note that students aged 8 to 15 years automatically share in twin rooms for safety. This also stops them from feeling homesick.

The price of single and twin rooms remains unchanged.

ACCOMMODATION IN HOTELS

There are 3 main types of hotels that we recommend to students. These vary in price and quality of service, however, they are all clean and suitable for students wishing to use them. All the hotels are near the school. The hotels offer breakfast only. Students choosing hotels must make their own arrangements for lunch and dinner. Please note that only students aged over 18 may stay in hotels

ACCOMMODATION IN FLATS (APARTMENTS)

Accommodation can be arranged in various flats. Students can choose from studio flats to 2-bedroom flats. Some flats are only available for 6-month periods, however, others flats can be rented for as little as 2 (mainly in the summer months) week. Please note that this type of accommodation is only available for students aged 18 and over. Guarantees may be required. In some cases, it may be necessary for students to pay in advance for the entire duration of their stay example:

TWO-BEDROOM FLATS	£ 180 PER WEEK

ACCOMMODATION IN HALLS OF RESIDENCE

This type of accommodation is most suitable for groups. Certain individual students may be able to use this type of accommodation subject to availability. Breakfast, packed-lunch, dinner and a laundry service is provided for students. Please note that this type of accommodation is subject to availability and time of the year.
