LETTER OF CONFIRMATION

On receiving a deposit or full fees, HSE will send a letter to the student confirming the course and accommodation details, together with any additional services chosen by the students.

VISA

Students requiring a visa to enter the United Kingdom must send at least one month’s school fees or the full fees, for both the course and the accommodation before a letter of acceptance can be sent. Once payment reaches the school, a letter of acceptance will be issued to the student and a copy will be faxed to the relevant British Consulate.

STUDENT INDUCTION PACK

On the first day of the course, all students receive the following: HSE folder, a map of the local area, some general information about the school and local places of interest, a safety guide issued by the local police and HSE student card. This card acts as a form of identification and helps students enter various places at a lower charge. Discounts are also offered by many shops in England.

24-HOUR TELEPHONE NUMBER

The school number operates on a 24-hours basis. This allows students and group leaders to contact a member of the school staff at any time in the unlikely event of an emergency.

CERTIFICATE AND REPORT

At the end of the course, every student receives a certificate stating the course enrolled on, duration, name of the teacher responsible for the course, and the date on which the course ended. They also receive a report detailing the student’s level with regard to the various aspects of the English language. These are useful as employers often contact the school in order to ask for references before offering a job to former students of HSE.

INSURANCE

Students are advised to arrange insurance in their own countries against accidents, damage to/loss of belongings. The same applies for medical insurance. Nationals of the countries belonging to the European Community generally receive medical treatment without charge. Please check with your local doctors for full details.
