| The mandolins I have developed incorporate sloping sides and a lightly arched back which leans towards the acoustic quality of the traditional Neapolitan bowl back type and yet is very comfortable to play. The sides of the heel flow naturally to the body allowing easy access to the highest frets. The mandolin is available in either fixed or floating bridge design and is available with Spruce or Cedar soundboard. The body is of Rosewood or Mahogany. As each instrument is custom made, personal preferences for fingerboard width, neck shape and scale length can all be met without extra cost. "Headway Electronics" have developed transducer systems specifically for the Mandolin and can be fitted on request. |
