A figure and landscape painter who was influenced by the
French
Impressionists. He exhibited 119 works at the Royal Society
of
British Artists in the last two decades of the 19th Century,
and
also exhibited at the Royal Academy and the Royal Institute
of
Painters in Watercolours.
He was elected to the Royal Society of British Artists in 1903.
