Perennial Award Winning...

Ledbury in Bloom 2005 - Gold Award Winner

Since its seminal days in the early 1990’s the Ledbury in Bloom society has ensured that the town be showered with plant-life, petals, plaudits and awards with a pedigree that few others could boast. Following on from the magnificent 2003 successes in which the title of ‘Best Small Town’ was bestowed in the national finals, Ledbury once again swept the board in 2004 collecting a gold award and overall winner of the Heart of England Region in its first outing in the Medium Size Town category.

In 2005 Ledbury in Bloom yet again excelled, achieving all that it could possibly have hoped to attain. Not only did Ledbury in Bloom once again obtain the much coveted Heart of England in Bloom 'Gold Award,' but the committee would also like to extend its congratulations to nearby Tarrington which achieved a 'Silver Gilt Award' on its very first attempt. But the work of Ledbury in Bloom is never over. Please come and talk to us at Ledbury in Bloom Open Meeting on Wednesday 26th October.
