Dark Peak MAC is based in Glossop, Derbyshire, and was formed in 1984 to provide a focal point for model flying in the area. Our older members have been flying on our club sites for over 20 years. The club runs numerous events and competitions, all well-attended by the members, including Efficiency Competitions, Slope Combat, full-size gliding, our annual auction and table top sale, and our many guest speaker evenings. We round off the year with our Christmas party, which often includes a build-and-fly competition on the night.
