Venue: Leatherhead, Randalls Road car park opposite the station. (variously given as Leatherhead Bus Garage or Leatherhead Station on timetables).
The Surrey event moves this year, to Leatherhead instead of Dorking, producing a difference in emphasis some "new" routes, and extensions of familiar ones. For instance the 416 and 422 routes, which previously have occasionally been worked between Leatherhead and Boxhill, will now see a fuller service of GSs and RFs to Boxhill, and a good service of large saloons over the full 416 between Tadworth Station and Esher.
The 462 is also raised from feeder service status this year, with shorts to Fetcham, a roughly hourly service to Cobham and three return runs to Chertsey. For "modern" bus afficionados the 432 will run between Leatherhead and Guildford, while the 468 will run loops via Chessington, Epsom and Ewell.
The 408 features this year, between Epsom and Guildford, with a feeder service from West Croydon.
Central Area operations include pre-booked STL journeys on the 65 from Ealing (free tickets from the CBR stand at Leatherhead on the day are essential), plus returns on the 71 to and from Kingston if we have enough red buses!
GreenLine operations operate over the 712/713 between Dorking and Morden.
Please note that feeder services are subject to the same vagaries of fortune as everything else, so have a backup plan.
Possession of a programme is not required to use the services.
