Metrobus' Omnidekka 479

Metrobus has operated the 161 for some years now. The blue and yellow Tridents have given way to red Omnidekkas. The route starts some way away from the base at Green Street Green, running from Chislehurst War Memorial north to Woolwich, then along to the Dome (or whatever it is called now). On 26th January 479 was waiting its turn to go north from Chislehurst.

A few minutes before 940 had climbed the hill past Chislehurst Ponds and passed me, and a few minutes earlier 904 had drifted down the High Street towards North Greenwich.
