wed 14 march 2001: i am currently
working on a project called standing dead centre.
it features ishmael lewis (liberty 37) on vocals and richie mills (sunna) on
drums.
you can download some basic demo's we did (with nomad
producing) if you'd like to check it out... these were recorded over a drunken & hazy
couple of days last month and utilise the skills of a drum machine and a big grey
computer...
point your mouse at:
a cowboy song
for dead lovers
the space between the
trees
... for a limited time we have uploaded a rare remix of 0..0..0.. onto the server... it was done by our good friend nomad a while ago and offers a very different vision of the
song... let us know what you reckon!
... go to the sounds page to download
it!
...thought we would offer this on the site... joe has a custom
build carvin guitar for sale... some of you might have seen it... it is wood finish,
extended flying v shape, gold hardware, through neck blah, blah, blah... it was £1600
direct from the states and joe wants £600 for it! bargain!
it comes with a hardcase and is in perfect condition. interested? email us here! (i will try and scan a pic of
it in over the next few days)...
ok - when we recorded off kilter enhancement we had one track too
many... the extra toon (orchid frequency) was put down to tape but omitted from the album.
it was due to be used as a bonus track for the japanese release of the lp... but that plan
got shelved... then it was set for the hi-point ep... but once again it never happened....
well, it is now available exclusively through gareth rose's et9
website! go download the mp3 from his site and let us know what you think to
it. the song is quite mellow and definately one of our more esoteric moments! it was the
brainchild of simon johnson, the guitarist who played with us for a few months in 1998.
