The following is a list of reference works on Worcestershire which volunteers are willing to search for information and details of some online information and searchable databases.
Before
you start!
New to The Look-up Exchange? Just starting out with your Family Tree? Don't
know what resources are available? Then why not visit the
help page which gives lots
of information which might help you.
How to
contact a volunteer
Click on the name beside the reference. This will open an email box already
filled in with the email address and subject. All you have to do is type your
message. If you change the subject title, your email might get missed by the
volunteer, or may be treated as spam email.
What you should ask for
Please be kind to our volunteers and help them to help you! Your request should
be specific and give as much information as you can (for instance names, dates,
places). If you send a "blanket" request (eg any baptisms in the name
of Smith!) your email will probably not be answered. Some volunteers may be
happy to provide copies of relevant pages for you. If so, they will let you
know what the cost will be. Volunteers only have the resources given by their
name, so they cannot give help on other resources or general advice.

your name on this list.
Give the full titles of any reference you

electoral rolls, directories, census indexes, indexed parish registers etc
