Park Description Kingfisher Holiday Park is set in gently undulating parkland, adjacent to the River Waveney and close to Burgh Castle Marina and the Norfolk Broads. Kingfisher Holiday Park has beautiful landscaped gardens and quiet scenic areas with plenty of open spaces. The park is laid out in crescents to allow plenty of space for each caravan with large grassed areas. There are working water wheels, waterfalls, ponds, patios, gazebos and a large lake which is overlooked by the Kingfisher Bar and Clubhouse. Locality The rural village of Burgh Castle is on the site of ancient Roman fortifications next to the River Waveney which is part of the Norfolk Broads and wetlands. How to Get to Kingfisher Holiday Park From the north take the A47 to Great Yarmouth and take the A12 (roundabout junction) towards Lowestoft. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit (Gapton Industrial Area) pass MacDonalds to the next roundabout taking the 3rd exit pass the superstore. At the next T junction turn right into Mill Road and follow the road into Burgh Castle and Butt Lane. The park is on the right. |
