The purpose of this pages is to explain why taking the time to answer the questionnaire and to process the response will be beneficial to you, as well as explain to you how it works.
Please take note that this service is simply provided to make a quick assessment of your needs and resources. Quick Advisor considers three different aspects of your company:
Firstly, Quick Advisor looks at the business sector your company operates in, your company past twelve months turnover, its past twelve months growth (or loss should this be the case) and projected growth for the next twelve months.
Then Quick Advisor looks at the type of data your Company produces and uses and whether you are already working towards integrating your data and maximizing its usage.
In the third and final step Quick Advisor looks at your IT resources.
Being these the three main areas of concern with regard to any IT/IS, or whichever name one prefer to give it, strategy Quick Advisor gives you a sort of checklist of what you need to do to achieve your goals.
Now, if you have made the effort of arriving to this page you are already familiar with the concept of maintenance of records related to customers as a way to target publicity and maximize revenue from marketing campaigns.
The days in which a business could rely on leaflet distribution or word of mouth are long gone. Direct Marketing is the way to promote your business today.
Data available for the purpose of direct marketing, however, can be very detailed and complex. In addition you may have your own data on your clients. And considered the cost for postage, for the list and for the publicity material you want the highest possible returns from your campaign. At the same time, you may not require external lists. Or you may want to use your existing data to target the best prospect available.
This questionnaire does not expect to answer all the questions related to Data Management and manipulation and their potential, hopefully you already know about this or you had a grounding through our web pages. The purpose of this questionnaire is to help you put the pieces of the puzzle together and help you assess your own personal circumstances keeping a broad view of the possible requirements.
Now let me explain how the questionnaire works.
After you hit the Let's continue link on the intro page you will be shown a screen like this:
By now you should have familiarised yourself with our friendly logo. Click on it and it will take you to the home page.
There are some things to notice about this screen. Firstly, the page here is shown by using a customised IE5, if you are using a different browser the picture might be somewhat different, but in general this is what you will see. Please ensure your browser is JavaScript enabled.
Another point to remember is that you have two different windows open, one is the main window which should take the whole of your screen, the other on the top left corner will display the result given by Quick Advisor at the end of the process. Please DO NOT CLOSE this window or you will not be able to view the result. If by mistake you do, simply reload the main page and the Results window will open again.
The next thing you will notice is the beginning of the questionnaire, with the question about the sector in which your Company trades.
Quick Advisor is still in Beta Testing, therefore although fully operational, it does not yet offer the full intended functionality. However, Quick Advisor should be easy to use and self explanatory.

and general connectivity tools used by your organization to connect to the Internet
Once you filled in all the answers, simply click on the Analyse button. Just to present the information in a more comprehensive fashion, you will be asked for your name, job title, company name and address, and email and Web detail. When you enter your company address, use * instead of Enter so that for IT 4 SMEs the address would look like this
"16 Eldon Road*London*E17 7BZ"
This is so that the database can analyse the data you have input more easily.
The text box at the bottom has now been removed from the page as it affected the result given by Quick Advisor.
Now you are ready to return to Results window. If you want to save your results simply click File then choose SaveAs or press ALT+F+A
