Who's Who in 2010

Obituaries

Dating from 1090, Lincoln Cathedral is the third-largest in the country after St Paul's and York.  Dramatically positioned on a hill, it dominates not only the city but can also be seen for miles in the surrounding countryside.

"I have always held, and am prepared against all comers to maintain, that the Cathedral of Lincoln is out and out the most precious piece of architecture in the British Isles, and roughly speaking, worth any two other cathedrals we have got"--John Ruskin

Our next reunion
is on Saturday
11th September 2010

Guests--and Associate members--can now take part in all our events except for the AGM.

Priorygate faces the east end of the cathedral.  The house painted blue is where William Byrd lived.
