A fun time was had by all at the recent Duck Race and
BBQ held at Ceibwr beach in aid of Ysgol Gynradd Trewyddel / Moylegrove
CP School.
There was great excitement as 1000 Ducks were released
into the River Awen and battled their way to the finishing post
where the pupils of Ysgol Trewyddel were eagerly awaiting the winners.
The event raised over £900 and was well supported by the local
community as well as visitors to the village.
After devouring
over 200 delicious burgers and sausages supporters gathered round
to watch the children participate in the obstacle and three legged
races.
Making a pleasant conclusion to the evening was the surprise
appearance of an Atlantic Grey Seal a real highlight to the evening
and a delight to see.
