[NI407] Frederick Markham, colonel in the 32nd in 1842, wounded at Canada and the siege of Moultan. He commanded at the battle of Suruj-Kund, 7 Nov 1848. A.D.C. to the Queen and C.B., lieut.-general in the Crimea, died 21 Nov 1855.
