[NI106] Robert Markham, of Sedgebrook, born 1597, created a Baronet by Charles(?) 1st, 15 aug 1642 ; served at Newark on the royalist side, married 1st, Barbara, daughter of Edward Eyr Esq., of Derby, o. s. p. He died on Candlemas day, 1667.

Rebecca, 2nd wife, daughter of Sir Edward Hussey, of Hunnington, co. - - - - - -, Bart., died Jun 1664(4?).

An Edward Eyr Esq. is also mentioned as the husband of Robert's sister, Rebecca. I can not be sure that these are both the same Edward Eyr Esq., so I have not made them the same person.
