Emily Elizabeth Markham, formerly Ralph. Thomas and Emily's page

Emily was living at 100 Murray Street, when married.
Emily made five trips to Canada, the first around 1914. She took Tom and Emily out first.

Emily moved to Canada in 1919, and first flew in an aeroplane at the age of 93 (newspaper article).

In the early 1900s (probably prior to 1914), she had applied to the 'News of the World', who ran a section in the newspaper on unclaimed family money. She was refused on the grounds that the Markham in question had been disinherited because he married the maid.
