Thomas Markham
1913, Thomas came to Toronto with his sister Emily.
1914, Having saved enough money to get married, sent for Florence, who went out with his mother.
1914, Moved to Edmonton.
1924, Moved from Edmonton to Vancouver; In the same year, started the Trade Engraving Co. His partner was Chas. Kerkhoff.
One of the first printing jobs he had to do was that of the church in Bossom, said to be the site of King Canute landed and where his daughter is said to have been buried. Money was raised amongst, the brothers and sisters ? to do an excavation, where the bones of a girl were found. (s. Eileen king)
