Albert Victor Markham Albert and his Caddy
Known to the family as "Pop". An amazing person and when in his late eighties, was still driving and built a fence in back yard (s. Monique Markham).
Albert worked in the Wheatfields of Saskachewan, then returned to Toronto, Ontario. During the depression years he worked at various occupations, including, selling vacuum cleaners door-to-door, and as a machine lathe operator at Lauders (a manufacturer of brass fittings). In 1948 the family moved to Vancouver, B.C. where he worked for a table manufacturing company, and also for Superior Plating, doing metal polishing. (s. David Markham).
