Jac started her professional life with a degree in English Literature followed by a post grad in Journalism and started her career as a journalist for BBC radio.  She then spent a few reckless years as a fashion model for Models One in the UK and abroad before deciding to turn a passion into a profession and attend Capel Manor to study Landscape Design.  She worked for a leading London based design agency establishing herself as a designer and consultant before setting up her own company Flower Design in 1991.  Commissions range  from domestic gardens (including Nigel Mansel’s and Terence Trent D’Arby’s) to large civic projects such as Telford Town Centre’s renovation.  She redeveloped the extensive formal gardens at Lord Newborough’s estate in Shropshire where she remains the Estate’s design consultant and horticulturist.
