CAMOMILE OIL  

Camomile has been used for thousands of years to heal and tend the body. Most camomile flowers originate from UK,
France and Egypt . It is believed in ancient Egypt , camomile was considered sacred, and dedicated to the sun-god Ra,
and as the religious rituals were performed at dawn, so the tiny camomile flowers opened its petals. The flowers have
for centuries been used to scent clothing, bed linen, made into potpourris, and used to freshen the air among other uses.

Camomile is one of the most soothing essential oils, and is great for both physical and emotional problems in both adults and children.

On The Body – Gentle camomile is perfect for treating even the most sensitive skins. Useful for inflammation, rheumatism, sprains,
allergy, headaches, toothache, painful periods, eczema, to name a few. Very useful for children. For massage, camomile works
especially well with other soothing oils.

On The Mind – Can ease restlessness, anxiety, weariness, stress, tension, fear, depression and workaholism. Calms irritability in children.

Roman camomile varies from clear to a very pale blue colour. German camomile has a rich, dark blue to green colour and
is thicker in consistency. Although they both have different benefits, both contain an effective anti-inflammatory, called azulene.

USEFULNESS:

Versatile – can be brewed as a tea; can be used either as a hot or cold compress to help relieve different types of aches and pains, and using the mellow hues, subtle scent and soothing properties of camomile to harmonise the home.
