Jacquelynn Luben is the author of two published non-fiction books, a novella, short stories, articles, poetry and two novels. She has written for various magazines, and gives occasional talks to Surrey groups on self-publishing and publicity. She was also invited to give readings of her books in Germany, in June 2009.

Jackie Luben's novel, Tainted Treewas placed second in the Winchester Writers' Conference novel competition, 2007 and a number of her short stories have been shortlisted in varous competitions, including the Guildford Book Festival short story competition.

During 2011, four of her short stories, 'An Affair of the Mind', 'Maggies Plot', 'The Green Girl' and 'The Obsession' were published by e-publisher, Untreed Reads, who have added two more of her stories in 2012 - 'The Honey Hunters' and 'Damaged Goods', the lattter having been earlier broadcast on Radio Southern Counties. Subsequently, Untreed Reads brought out The Fruit of the Tree  - Jackie's autobiographical 'slice of life' - as an ebook, with a new cover. Her two novels are also available in e-format.

For her degree in 2002, Jacquelynn wrote a dissertation on 'Harry Potter and other children's books', and this is available on Amazon, for the Kindle. She is a member of Guildford Writers and she is currently working on her third novel,
Innocent Bystanders.
