    TERMLY COURSES

    Ten lessons, each lasting one and three-quarter hours for Juniors (7-8+) and two hours for 8+ -12 year olds
    Younger pupils (6+)could be accepted if they can cope


    READING = Structured, individual reading , comprehension
    and vocabulary work ; phonic exercises and simple grammar
    SPELLING= "Look, Cover, Write and Check" method
    Dyslexic (mildly) children can be catered for
    WRITING= Cursive script and joined letters. Essay-writing

    Lessons conclude with fun card and word games
    HOMEWORK 10 to 15 minutes each day

    Cognitive Profiling Systems

    The nine game-like tests assess key processing skills

    Each test takes aboutten to fifteen minutes spread over

    three sessions , to prevent over-tiredness

    Visual associative memory in a shape and colour context

    LASS JUNIOR and LASS SENIOR tests

    LASS Test batteries for children aged from 9 to 15 which can assess whether a child has a specific learning difficulty such as Dyslexia. These are in a similar format to COPS1 but more suitably geared towards older children

Each "Instrument" tackles different skills organisation ; establishing reference points, precision ; relationships interpretation and lateral thinking; internalisation ,identification selectivity, logical reasoning; hypothetical thinking, sequencing and prediction; logical and inferential thinking, representational sequencing. The IEP will enable the student to

Music-Based Auditory Stimulation that trains the brain to improve the auditory skills needed to effectively listen, learn and communicate. It consists of an extensive series of high-quality audio CDs that integrate specially produced acoustic music, primarily classical, with innovative, modulated, sound processing techniques. Programs are self-administered under the monitoring and consultation of a trained Authorized Provider of The Listening Program.
