Do I need to be a teacher to run this business?
Yes, Franchisees and Associates have to be qualified and experienced teachers / tutors. All educational experience is valuable when talking with clients and tutors. You as a franchisee do not need to tutor, for your associates / teaching staff can tutor all of your students.

If you offer our tutoring programme, you can estimate your income as £195 per pupil (max six in a class)for a ten-week course, less the cost of homework packs and the 10% royalty fee. For example, In my own branch I can earn £2340 for forty hours' of tutoring on ten Saturday mornings. This is achieved by having two classes of six-----2x (6x £195).
What other expenses are involved to start?
This business has very little start-up and overhead costs. If you already have table, chairs, file drawer, telephone, and answering machine, then all you need is stationery, insurance, miscellaneous office supplies and advertisement expenses.
