It tells the story of an Urban Invasion in the form of a 'Reality Game' online. It appears the invasion has hit London town. One of my scouts and part time contributors Paul J Ronalds managed to snap the following image below on a trip to London last week!

Well its been along time coming, but finally its time to get 'The Basement Arcade' up and running again. Lets get the site back to what it was always intended to be, namely No. 1. No. 1 for info, No. 1 for reviews as well as No. 1 for gossip and all manner of goodies associated with your favoutite Classic Retro Games.
We've been away for too longeand we intend to get back up to speed asap.

The film of the game, that became a game from the film, that became a cult film and game and which is now set to have a sequel made in 2010.
TRON LEGACY is set to be released in 2010 with the original cast and with a story following on directly from the original film of 1980. Its going to be a must see for all Classic Gaming and Sci-Fi fans worldwide. Games have been a passion of mine for
a long, long time. The days spent as a child in dark, dingy, smelly,
smoke filled basements brings a smile to my face. These were the days where
the only care you had in the world was where and when you were going to get
your next credit from and whether you still had the High Score on Donkey Kong.
Alas
we all have to grow up, more the pity, and those days are soon
gone. Then as you get older you find that you get a craving to go back
to those halcyon days, and say goodbye to your
day to day worries, mortgages, taxes, insurance etc, but where do you go to
release all that pent up tension?
THE
BASEMENT ARCADE! of course. This site
is dedicated to nostalgia and Classic Video Games.
It has been created to bring back all those memories from the Golden Days
of Gaming in the local arcades, the local pizza parlour or the chippy.
This site hosts reviews, features, galleries, links etc and much, much more,
my hope is that it will grow in time to become 'The Web site' for Classic Game
Addicts. If you share my love of Classic Video Games you've come to the right
