HUMMOUS
Great for dipping
stuff in - crudités, Pringles, crisps or whatever you fancy.
You can also use it on sandwiches if you like.
INGREDIENTS

19oz can
chickpeas |
1 clove
garlic, peeled |

4fl oz
lemon juice |
2tbsp olive
oil |
|
2oz tahini |
3oz plain
yoghurt |
|
Half tsp
ground cumin |
Salt |
METHOD
Put the chickpeas
and garlic in a food processor or blender. Whizz, scraping down
the sides as needed, until the ingredients are finely chopped.
Add the lemon juice, oil, tahini, yoghurt and cumin and continue
to whizz until smooth. Scrape the hummous into a bowl and serve
with things to dip in it.
