| My long-suffering other half. Okay, he's not suffered all that long but hey, putting up with me for any amount of time deserves some kind of recognition! He's a disgruntled sys admin, working in the office that I used to work in, although for a different company. | |

The Penguins |
| Namely Lanky, Dumpy and the Baby Penguin. Lanky is kind of mean looking, with a serious caffeine addiction. Dumpy is, well, dumpy and pretty stupid if you ask my opinion, but definitely the best in terms of cuddle potential. And the Baby Penguin seems to be under the impression that flying is an option he'll have in later years. We just don't have the heart to tell him. . . | |

The Cats |
| Rex and Vince are the latest addition to our household. They're 2-year old tabby cats and they've been with us since Easter Monday. Rex is the smaller of the two, but has the loudest voice and the biggest appetite! He's quite highly strung and has a tendency to start fights. Vince is slightly bigger than Rex in all directions, with white socks and the cutest little overbite. He's a much more laid back cat, but tends to win when Rex picks on him. | |

The Girlies |
| The girlies are my old school chums, Penny, Lindsay and Sam. We're a bit spread about now, so there's not so much potential for mischief (not to mention the fact that we're mainly a bit too grown up for mischief of the old type), but we try and get together when we can. Penny's a nurse here in Glasgow, Lindsay's a surveyor in Edinburgh, and Sam's an advertising executive in Vilnius, which means we all miss her lots! | |

Family |
| My mum and dad live in Helensburgh, where I grew up, and where they run a printing & stationery business. They both work far too hard, and far too long hours!! Jamie's folks are in Dumbarton, about 15 miles away from Helensburgh, so we usually try to visit them both in a one-er. Jamie's little sister and her hubby also have a little girl called Michaela, who's completely mental, but I think that's generally the case with toddlers! | |

Other friends |
| Emma was my flatmate in 2nd year at college, and she's now going out with a bloke who works with my ex. He's much nicer than her previous boyfriends! Karen and Fiona are my mates from my last work - Karen's very much into the am-dram thang, and she's always rehearsing for a show, or filming for some student film or another. Fiona's just started her dream job, doing administration at the Arches (arts centre-type place in Glasgow). She can drink me under the table several times over, and has done so on many occasions (and propped me up on those occasions too!) | |
