San Siro is a pretty, ancient hamlet where you can still feel the atmosphere of the past, and view the beautiful castle with arcades dating back to the year 1000 AD. San Siro is built on a rock, nestled up against the stone, with winding cobbled streets descending down to the lake. At only 5km from Menaggio and 30km north of Como, San Siro is well situated for day trips by car or by ferry across to the opposite shore to Bellagio and the other small lakeside towns. It is on the sunny west side of Lake Como.
