Biodynamic massage is a technique which brings possibilities of addressing life stress via the organic structure of the physical and energetic body. It is a means of attempting to re-establish our natural capacity for health. This capacity is often disturbed or lost as a result of difficult life events or, less dramatically, by the ordinary stresses and strains of everyday life.
Furthermore, once the self-regulatory mechanisms have been reinstated, Biodynamic massage can be used to maintain and enhance this state of well-being.
In essence, Biodynamic massage presents an invitation to our natural tendency towards balance and health to reassert itself in our everyday lives.
Every stress, every shock, every unsatisfactory experience has an impact on the body and the accumulation of these experiences can quickly lead to many common stress-related symptoms. Headaches, chronic tiredness, aching or painful muscles and joints, digestive problems and many of the so-called physical “anxiety” and stress symptoms can respond well to this massage.
Biodynamic
massage is a gentle, non-invasive technique and during the massage you may
remain fully or partly clothed. At the initial meeting you will be asked to say
a little about your life and about your medical history which will help me to
tailor the massage to your individual needs. Whilst you may feel some benefit
following each session, a sustained change will only become apparent with a
regular series of massages over a period of weeks or months.
