First all-girls football match at
Little Gaddesden
On Saturday 4 March, under blue skies, Little Gaddesden girls played their
first match against Egerton-Rothesay school. Ably coached by Jeremy Whitehead
15 minutes before kick-off, the Little Gaddesden team won 5-nil with a hat-trick
from Emma and goals from Jessica and Elizabeth A. Under the management of
Roger Bolton, Olivia made some fine saves in goal whilst Amy, Laura and Holly
gave nothing away in defence. Amelia, Rosie and Lucy were impressive with
some tough attacking play.
Little Gaddesden now look forward to their next challenge!
