The original Line-up of the band is to do some gigs during the coming year as & when their other commitments allow.

SAD NEWS FOR WINCHESTERS FANS:

The Band are going to go their separate ways at the end of the year. They have decided that after 12 years they need a fresh challenge and that after New Year 2002 there will be no further Winchesters. I have added below a list of their last gigs, so make sure you get to see them before its too late. They still have some CDs left so you can take a memento home with you!!

I have asked the band members to let me know what they will be doing next year and will publish any details here.

This is a Web Page devoted to one of my favourite bands and fortunately (for me) they are a local band. (local that is to Manchester, UK). If you get a chance go and see them! The Winchesters purvey a mixture of Classic American musical styles. The main ingredients are Blues and Western Swing, but when you have experienced an evening's entertainment from The Winchesters you will have had a taste of Honky-Tonk, Jump Jive, Boogie Woogie, and a whole load of FUN as well .
