I have been painting pictures since I was a child, and in that time I have progressed from crayola crayons to oil paints. I have a passion for the outdoors, so photographing and painting the landscape around me, in all its moods, is a natural choice for me. I also have a fascination for the weather, (I am a trained meteorologist) and so I always try to put some weather into my pictures. Self taught, my style is inspired by nineteenth century British landscape painting, together with French impressionism (my technique tends toward the former, whilst my composition, to the latter).

I currently live and work in Bedfordshire. Previously I lived in Mid-Wales for twelve years and many of the pictures you will see on this site are influenced by my time there. I hope that you enjoy my pictures.
