Gloucestershire's overseas player, Ian Harvey has been named in Australia's one-day squad for their tour of New Zealand.
Harvey played one game in Australia's recent Carlton & United Series victory against Pakistan and India. Australian captain, Mark Waugh, said of Harvey 'He's the best bowler at the death in one-day cricket and he's got the goods to succeed.'
The first of six one-day internationals in New Zealand is on 16th February with the last on 3rd March.
Harvey's selection could be bad news for Gloucestershire as Australia's international games could make him unavaliable for some of the season. Australia play three one-day internationals against South Africa home and away. These games will be played on 12-16 April and 16-20 August which both clash with Gloucestershire games.
